Ajax vs Vitesse cancelled again

18 April: Yes, it's true.

For the second time, and for a completely different and quite incredible reason, the Ajax vs Vitesse match, originally scheduled for April 22 and then rescheduled for Saturday, 21 April, has been cancelled again.

The reason this time, according to NOS TeleTekst: the railroad police do not have enough people available to escort the Arnhem fans to Amsterdam, because of - believe it or not - the 'foot and mouth disease crisis'.

Ajax.nl does not mention this as a reason, but has confirmed news of the game being cancelled.
