Ajax Orlando announces three executive hirings
11 September: Ajax Orlando announced the hiring of three new
executives today. Rich Bradley was named Executive Vice
President and Chief Operating Officer, while Dart McCarty
becomes Director of Youth Operations and Erik Visser joins the
technical staff of Ajax Orlando as Director of Scouting for the
West Coast.
Rich Bradley is a former Vice President and CEO of Kansas
City Sports Enterprises (KCSE) and Major Indoor Soccer League's
Kansas City Comets. Previously, Bradley held senior positions
with FOX Sports, Sunshine Network, Empire Sports Network and
other television enterprises. He also worked with Pittsburgh
Pirates and Philadelphia Phillies of Major League Baseball, as
well as with Temple University Athletics.
Dart McCarty is a former director of public information for
World Cup USA 1994, Inc. Previously, McCarty spent more than a
decade as a coach and administrator with the Central Florida
United Soccer Club. McCarty's career also includes
military service as a Navy Top Gun fighter pilot.
Erik Visser was born in the Netherlands and played on AFC
Ajax Amsterdam junior teams and for amateur side AFC Amsterdam
before relocating to the United States, where he has served as
an assistant coach of the US U-20 national team where he worked
with several prominent American players including Landon
Donovan, Bobby Convey, DaMarcus Beasley and Edson Buddle.
Currently Visser serves as head and assistant coach with
University of San Francisco's mens and womens soccer programs.
It is not yet known whether Visser's new position with Ajax
Orlando means he will be leaving USF.
According to Ajax Orlando President and CEO Mark Dillon,
these are the first of several hirings for his
organization.
"With the combined experience that these three professionals
bring to the program, the enthusiasm and excitement surrounding
Ajax Orlando continues to build," said Dillon. "We really
