The design was created by Orlando-based architectural firm
Farmer Baker Barrios Architects. According to the official
statement by Ajax Orlando, the stadium "represents the vision
of a new generation of urban stadiums, which combine multi-use
fields with corporate boxes, parking, retail, office and even
residential facilities."
Mark Dillon, founder and CEO of Ajax Orlando, is also head
of OSI Development LLC, the property development company that
will eventually be involved in a stadium project. "While no
specific site has been pinpointed for this project," Dillon
said, "a number of Central Florida locations are being examined
for a stadium complex, as well as Ajax Orlando
headquarters." (JM)
